Winter is upon us. Damn it to hell! I am not a winter person! The only thing that I actually enjoy about winter is being able to wear a hoodie every day because it's cold, and to hide my adorable muffin top. Just because I have one doesn't mean I look like a freaking cupcake! The only other good thing I can think of about winter is that bugs disappear, minus the one very downsy wasp that was in my room this morning!
I walk into my dorm room to my very upset roommate and a dead wasp. I went to set my books down and casually stated, "I see you killed a wasp". She instantly breaks into this wild story, ( with some crazy hand gestures I might add) about being viciously attacked! Apparently the wasp was hiding in an empty pop tart box, on our window sill. She had picked up the box to throw it away. (probably because I left it empty, slob roommate habit, my bad) The wasp was very carefully camouflaged, when she went to put in the garbage, he pounced! She threw the box but that wasn't enough to allow her to escape, he then marked her with a very impressive battle scar which she proceeded to show me and then exclaim "that mother ****er would not die, I bet ya I stomped on him ten times, he would not stop moving! But he has been laying there for awhile." All I could do was laugh and and throw him away.
Snow is also very pretty minus the lovely fact that ice seems to come along with it! I am a terrible driver as most people that have met me know. I would really like to prepare for a career in NASCAR and I proceed to practice everywhere that I go!
The very first time I ever got to drive to school and I damn near ran my mothers pickup into the one and only tree in Circle Montana. Going past the elementary school I decided I should probably drive a little faster, not wanting to look like one of those gray haired ladies in their little Prius. The corner was coming up so I decided sliding around the corner trying to mimic Tokyo drift would be pretty sweet. My brother was letting out every swear word he could think of as we rounded the corner when the anti lock breaks locked in and we stopped turning, and effortlessly jumped the curb mere inches from a shriveled little tree. On the bright side he never told my parents, and there was not even a scratch on the beautiful Chevy! But lesson learned, sort of.
I have many other anti-winter stories I could tell you but maybe another day, they say it snows here a lot so I will have lots of them to come up I am sure! Until next time! God Bless:)
